Last week in General Cepeda, we took the car to a nice hidden town. We got there and parked nearby the local church, and went in to visit San Antonio de Padua and climb the bell tower.

From up there I could see an old guy had approached the Bad Boy and was admiring it. After a few minutes I met with him alongside the car.

"Nice looking vehicle," he said. "and it is very silent."
"Yes, Sir" I answered."It is electric."

"And where do you put the gas?"
"It uses no gas. It is electric."
"Because you have a leak over here," he said.
"It is not possible, because it uses no gas or water," I answered, circling the vehicle to where he was signaling. There was in effect some water dripping out from one of the tires. I thought I had a puncture and there was some water in the tire from condensation, so I kind of rubbed the tire to see if any bubbles would pin the site of the leak. Then the smell hit me.

"This is no water, Sir. A dog peed on this tire."
He laughed outloud and said dryly, "Stupid kid. Go wash your hands."

Ronel,

My wife and I with our little rat terrier took the Bad Boy out to the ranch yesterday to check on the baby goats and look for a bobcat who is killing them. The Bad Boy performs even greater than I imagined. We covered about 2,000 acres in over three hours and had plenty of juice left!
I like it much better than the Mule. We especially liked the silence!
Thanks again for bringing my unit to Brady. It has been a pleasure doing business with you.

Sincerely,
Terry Keltz

Clint and Ronel,

Thought I would give you guys a progress report. This past weekend marked the third weekend of using my Bad Boy on the ranch. This past weekend began before sunrise by riding out with the cowboys (the quietness does not “spook” the horses) to gather cows and calves. The Bad Boy worked great along side the horses and the cattle responded to my herding with the buggy the same as with the horses and riders. A big surprise came when we finished marking calves and needed to move the calf table out of the pens.
We decided to see if the Bad Boy could pull the iron contraption, which weighs quite a bit, to a new location. Normally it takes four to five guys to maneuver the table and once out of the pens, a full size truck is normally used to drag it. The Bad Boy didn’t even strain nor did the tires even un-track. It dragged the table without any problem right out of the pens and to a new location about fifty yards away.

Next came the goat roundup. Once again I headed out with the mounted crew to assist in finding and rounding up approximately 300 goats and kids. The Bad Boy performed excellent. I was around the pasture and located the herd even before the riders even got there. Again the animals responded to me the same as with the guys on horseback. The journey to the pens where we were to work the goats was pretty far, especially for the some of the young babies that fell behind. The Bad Boy provided an excellent taxi for these little guys and by the time we reached the pens we had transported about five of the little critters via the comfort of the electronic buggy.

The day ended after traveling around to 11 deer feeders located at various positions throughout 2,300 acres. I took the Bad Boy off my trailer at about 7:15 a.m. that morning and drove it back on at 6:20 p.m. Of course it was not in full use for the entire day. There were some time outs for working the calves and goats plus a lunch break. I am not sure how many miles I covered but I remain very pleased at the amount of use I got out of a single charge. Also, I traveled over miles of cactus and drove over a lot of mesquite thorns. The Multi Seal product apparently works as good as Jim said it would. No flats!

There is a concern I would like to share with you after the past three weekends of extra hard work for the Bad Boy. I have found that the slogan, “They’ll never hear you coming”, isn’t true all the time. Whenever I have the sound system that I installed on the Bad Boy cranked up to an enjoyable level the wildlife seemed to take notice!

Well, there you have it. The first three weekends with my Bad Boy Buggy. Once again let me say how much I enjoyed working with you guys on purchasing my unit. I appreciated you letting me wear you out with questions. I remain very please with it and look forward to many more fun filled weekends out in the wide open spaces!

Many thanks,
Terry

The “Bad Boy Buggy” has been a real treat for the two of us. We drive through the entire ranch, three and a half miles of roads, each evening, and at the end of the week we plug in our buggy to “fill it up.” The total cost is about 50 cents worth of electricity. That is my kind of economy.

The team of Clint and Ronel has been super to us. Every time we call to ask a question they are just as understanding and helpful as any one could ask. When we had a noise in the bearing, Clint came all the way to Hondo and changed the entire axel and bearing. He serviced our Bad Boy with a positive sense of humor and a smile on his face. That is the kind of service we all want but seldom receive.

I want to thank all the folks who are connected with the “Bad Boy Buggies” for a great machine and even better service. Thanks for a fun “ride”.
